Lovely whimsical cabin our group really embraced the Bigfoot theme. Lovely view and fire pit. It’s in the description but worth re-reading if you have kids the first level has a private entrance & only can be entered through an exterior door. Consequently, the refinished porch on the second level has an exterior door with no deadbolt access, which spooked us a little. Our kids didn’t want to sleep there ‘alone.’ There was a mess on the toilet when we checked in but the host was quick to offer a solution, I appreciated that. All communications were prompt. Hot tub was clean and hot at check in. Beds were all very comfortable which was great after long day of hiking and exploring! Gas fireplace needs propane but we got it going! Honey suckle near big fire pit wafts a sweet scent in the air. The location of this cabin is perfect! Steep driveway but more accessible than some of the other steep gravel mountain paths we’ve also stayed at. Open floor plan was great for hanging out and eating!

Great house in a beautiful area. Far enough away that nothing is right around the corner and is quiet, so be aware that everything is 'about' a 20 or 30 minute drive. Plenty of room for an entire family (or a group of friends such as when we visited) with lots of awesome decorations throughout the property.

Our family loved our stay. We had the max occupancy of guests but sleeping was sufficient if your OK with a futon. You can really only do 9 comfortably if some are kids due to the twin + trundle (or bunch my kids loved). The Big Foot theme was so much fun! Furniture was newer and clean. Everything well maintained. Luis was a great host. Thank you!

Such a wonderful cabin! The view off of the deck or even from the dining room table was spectacular. The yard size was perfect for cooking out, and perfect distance from the cozy firepit! After a nice evening enjoying the hot tub, it was nice to be able to move into the living room area for a movie night. The wide open floor plan between the dining room and kitchen was perfect to grab a snack or drink refill without missing a moment of the action! After a long day of having fun and making memories, you can always count on a good night of sleep in one of these super comfortable beds. Chilly? There are plenty of extra blankets from decorative throw blankets to super comfy comforters! I can personally say that I laid on every bed in the home and could have slept like a baby in each one! However, an experience like this can only be had with the right host. Someone attentive, thoughtful, and who only wants the best for you! That host is Luis!!! So come check this place out!

Our stay at Bigfoot's Hideaway was horrible. We drove 15 hours from New England for our first family vacation. The cabin itself was nice but after night one I woke up with welts all over my body. We inspected the bed and found bed bugs all over my pillow, the corner of the mattress and the floor. We got our kids up and found more bugs in the bedroom downstairs. We had to pack up everyone and take the 15 hour ride home. The kids were disappointed and I am covered head to toe in welts. This was a complete nightmare.
