* Ride Accessibility *
Don't worry about the headache of looking for parking in Downtown Gatlinburg! At the base of the mountain is a FREE Trolley service that will take you to and from Downtown Gatlinburg.
* Pets *
We're pet friendly and accept up to 2 medium sized dogs per reservation. We provide 2 pet crates, toys, leash and food/water bowls for your fur baby. The pet fee of $125 applies when bringing up to 2 dogs. We do not permit cats or other animals in this cabin.
* Young Children *
We provide a Pack N' Play, Full Size Stroller, Portable High Chair and Booster Seat so you do not have to pack these items.

** Please Note - The roads leading to this cabin are all paved roads that any vehicle can drive to the cabin . If the roads are covered in snow, 4WD may be necessary to get to the cabin. **
** Military, Veteran, Police & Firefighter Discount **
We are proud to offer all Current Military, Veterans, Police & Firefighters a 10% discount. In order to receive this discount, you must make your reservation first then send us a message with a copy of your proof of service. The name on the reservation and payment must match the name on the proof of service. We will then refund 10% of the accommodation back to you in the resolution center the day of your check in.

Notes
Charcoal grills are strictly prohibited to be brought onto the balconies per the local fire code. There is a charcoal grill at the property for your use so there is no need to bring a grill to this property.
House Rules
* Please note - If you are arriving on the same day that you are making the reservation, you must message us prior to making your reservation to ensure the cabin will be ready for you. Please include the time you expect to arrive in your message. * Quiet hours outside of the home after 10pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors. Noise ordinances are followed in this area. * No smoking inside of the cabin. There is a smoking receptacle behind the house. $400 smoke cleaning fee inside of the cabin. * Please do not bathe your pet or service animal in the showers. This will clog our septic tank. * Up to 5 dogs are allowed. No aggressive breeds allowed. There is a 36 inch dog crate in the home. Any pet left home alone must remain in the crate. In order to bring a pet, you must select the # of pets on your reservation. Guests violating this policy will be asked to leave without refund. The pet fee covers up to 2 pets. There will be an additional fee of $50 per pet for each additional pet. Please let us know if you are bringing more than 2 pets and we will invoice you after your reservation has been made. * We have 3 exterior cameras. Two are at the top of the driveway, facing the parking areas and bbq grill. The third camera looks toward the bottom of the driveway. The cameras record audio/video but are only activated by motion

The Bear Shack is such a beautiful home, beautiful scenery and so worth every penny. My husband and I brought our 2 teen boys and they loved everything about the house. It caters to everyone in the family for entertainment and relaxation. Our host, Anthony, was on top of everything from the time I booked. Before I had a question to ask, he had every single bit of information provided to me. I highly recommend this house, not only for amenities, but also for such a helpful host.

We loved the Big Bear Shack! It was exactly as listed and we had a great time! The hot tub was amazing on a cool night, and the pool/game area was so fun! The house has a few quirks, but they all do really. My main take-away is that everything was extremely well thought out with this property. A lot of attention to the details you need when staying away from home. It was a great stay and we will definitely be back!
